Back in 2007, I posted a report that showed that the profitability of a company actually rises when the CEO's mother-in-law dies. (It is not a joke. see post) Truth is, some men just don't care too much for their mother-in-law. Take, for example, Miroslav Jijici of Bosnia.
It seems that Miroslav took issue with his mother-in-law's constant nagging and interference. In fact, he blamed her for "turning his wife against him."
So, to get revenge, Miroslav went a little overboard. He obtained a military class anti-tank missile launcher and launched a rocket-attack on her house while she was in it. Then, when he saw that she had somehow survived the rocket attack, he tried using a machine gun on her.
Fortunately, the mother-in-law survived the whole affair without a scratch. Miroslav, on the other hand, will be spending the next 6 years in jail for attempted murder.
Hopefully, his mother-in-law will stay in touch through lots and lots of recorded messages.

memo to Miroslav: if you want to help the marriage, you might want to look into some counseling on anger management. just a thought.
