remember: today's the day the aliens arrive

Just a reminder...

As I posted back on September 10, today (October 14, 2008) is the for-sure day that Blossom Goodchild predicted aliens from the Federation of Light would arrive and prove once-and-for-all that they do exist.

The bets are in. Bookies in England have taken at least one £1,000 bet on this event and will lose £1,000,000 if the aliens actually show up. (link) (um, and what happens to Goodchild's integrity if they don't??)

Maybe while they are here, they can rescue the economy.

It really doesn't matter if they appear or not.. The point is that they exist for those of us who believe. Some of us feel them more than others. It is an internal calling. It wont be for everyone to see. Maybe Maybe not.

Anonymous,

Seems to me that it does matter (if it matters at all) whether or not they arrive.

Goodchild was quite clear that the aliens were arriving to prove once-and-for-all that they do exist and to silence the critics. They are supposed to be here for everyone to see, not just people with the "internal calling." This is the reason her prediction made the news to begin with.

If they don't arrive, then either Goodchild was mistaken (or flaky or worse) or the aliens that gave her the info are untrustworthy.

but... I do appreciate the visit and the comment! :)

yup, nice work if you can get it.

It kinda bugs me that a shyster can make $15 million through deceit or flakiness. (If she knew her prediction was wrong, it is deceit. If she really believes she was right, it was flakiness).

oh well, not my money. not my business.
