the date isn't going well if he steals your car

It was just their first date, but there probably won't be a second one.

Earlier this year, Terrance Dejuan McCoy and an unnamed woman met at a casino near Detroit. They liked each other and arranged a real date at Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant two weeks later.

At one point during dinner, Terrance said that he had left his wallet in the car. So, he asked the woman for her keys so that he could get it.

After taking the keys, Terrance promptly got into the woman's Chevy Impala and drove off... and didn't come back. He left the woman at the restaurant with the bill and no car.

At the time, the woman only knew Terrance as "Chris" and didn't know his last name or where he lived. Finding "Chris" somewhere in the Detroit area seemed like a remote possibility.

However, Terrance a.k.a Chris apparently forgot that he had sent the woman a picture of himself on her cell phone... from his cell phone. That made locating him quite easy.

Terrance was arrested for car theft and faces five-years in prison. He stands trial tomorrow (Thursday, September 3). The second date will probably have to wait.
