mice on the catwalk

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So is fashion. This headdress recently appeared on the catwalk of the London Fashion Week.

The white headdress covers the entire face, except the eyes.

But look closely-- it is entirely made of mouse and rat carcasses. The rat tails actually create a sort-of fringe at the bottom of the headpiece.

The creator of this work-of-art is Charlie Le Mindu, a 22-year-old French designer.

Metro.co.uk quotes the designer as saying: "I know not everybody likes mice and rats but they can be beautiful. I think the headdress is really cute... It is better to make rats and mice beautiful than give them to the snakes. I'm actually a vegetarian."

Since this will probably not appear in stores, I will be keeping my eye out for DIY instructions.
