hypnotist puts himself in a trance... and can't wake up.

Helmut Kichmeier is in training to be a hypnotist-- and has convinced himself that he will be good at it.

This week, Helmut's was practicing his hypnotic skills in front of a mirror at around 10 in the morning. Concentrate on the watch... you are getting sleepyy... you are getting very sleepppppyyyyyyy....

Five hours later, his wife Joanna came into the room and found Helmut standing in front of a mirror with a blank, zombie-like stare on his face. He was completely unresponsive to her words. Helmut had hypnotized himself into a deep sleep.

Joanna said, "I tried to ask him what was wrong but he didn't answer and it was then I looked at the sofa behind him and saw a book named Hypnosis Medicine of the Mind.

"It was opened on page 45 and a chapter named hypnotic anaesthesia and I realised there was something wrong."

Mrs Kichmeier called Helmut's mentor, Dr. Ray Roberts. Fortunately, Dr. Roberts was able to talk Helmut out of the trance. [www_ananova_com]
