contextual ads gone awry

If you have spent any time on the Internet, you have encountered "contextual ads." Sometimes, the computer-generated ad choice is horribly wrong. For example (actual screen shots)......

BTW... starting today, I'm trying Google "contextual ads" in my sidebar. It is an experiment to see what happens. If you want to give me a little money, click one every once-in-awhile. ;)

Yeah, Ill be sure to pray that Fluffy makes it across that "rainbow bridge" and maybe that you get cured of your cough medicine addiction... and maybe that you stop blogging... and adopting cats because, its evidently not working out so hot.

lol... you actually read the cat story?? It didn't even occur to me to read beyond the headline.

but... sheesh. That "rainbow bridge" thing is pretty odd/ sad/ peculiar/ unusual/ pathetic/ spooky/ touching/ creepy/ heart-breaking/ loony-tunes. (pick any adjective you feel is appropriate)

I will bet that she doesn't purchase the ring tone, however.

Good example of a contextual ad gone awry. I live in Maine and posted pictures of auto accidents. Poof. You get Maine Towing albeit in Ohio.

but heck, click the ad in the sidebar!! :) If you go to the site, it makes me about 30 cents ;). Just because you live in NJ doesn't mean you can't use Maine's Towing in Ohio.
