This week a cockroach made an appearance on the news. Literally.During a live broadcast seen on Turkmenistan's national station, a cockroach was seen scurrying across the news reader's desk.
In most countries, that would be on a blooper reel. (see today's post below)
In Turkmenistan the reaction was, well, a little overdone-- Calls poured in from disgusted viewers. The Culture Minister has ordered an internal investigation. Thirty station employees, including editors, directors and technicians have been fired... all because of a cockroach.
